Holgersen is a trained clinical child welfare educator with specialist training in child and adolescent mental health. She has many years of experience from clinical mental health care for children and adolescents at Haukeland University Hospital.
Holgersen will develop and research the effect of digital treatment of eating disorders. The work is part of work package 1 in UngMeistring. The knowledge Holgersen possesses is relevant in the development of therapies for adolescents, and she also has experience in developing digital tools for treatment. The Psychosis Team has, among other things, developed VR treatment.
