DigiFlexHelse is a digitalization project led by the Institute of Global Health and Social Medicine at the University of Bergen.
UiB, Helse Bergen and Forhelse are cooperating to create a digital version of an existing specialization in health informatics and digitalization offered at UiB.
DigiFlex is funded by Kompetanse Norge. The aim of the project is to provide flexible continuing education at a master’s level within the fields of health informatics and digitalisation. Today, this specialization is offered at UiB only as collection-based teaching and follows traditional teaching methods.
The digital version consists of four courses:
Course 1: Introduction – Digitalization in the healthcare sector: Individual, organization and society (5 credits)
Course 2: Digitization project and implication (5 credits)
Course 3: Leadership role and improvement work (5 credits)
Course 4: Information exchange, integrations and introduction to systems (5 credits)
Development and user testing will take place in 2022-2023.
